Retaining Wall Replacement Sandy Springs | Atlanta, Roswell & Dunwoody

Benefits of Retaining Wall Replacement

• Gets to the root of the issue rather than just patching up a wall that has already structurally failed.
• Older walls were not built with modern drainage standards, but modern ones are.
• Many homeowners upgrade their materials from old timber to concrete block or natural stone.
• It stops a bigger more expensive collapse from hurting the nearby patios, driveways, and landscaping.
• A wall can protect the property long-term provided that it is built to current engineering standards.

Our Process

1. We assess the entire basement wall and the soil behind it to determine if replacement and not repair is the answer.
2. We guide you through the options of changing the original wall material with our unique solutions.
3. We take down the existing wall with utmost care, protecting landscaping, walkways, and tree roots.
4. Before any other construction begins on the new wall, there shall be a properly compacted base and footing.
5. The root cause of the failure was found to be improper installation of drainage pipe and gravel backfill.
6. Thus, this time the installation is done right.
7. The new wall will be built to current standards and surrounding grade will be restored when complete.
