Swimming Pool Construction in Atlanta

The process through which the pool is built is known as swimming pool construction. This covers the entire process, from the initial conversation about the design to the last walkthrough. Instead of delegating project components to various crews, we stay engaged from plan to project completion.

We commence by preparing and digging the site to position plumbing and electrical works, followed by the building of the pool shell, which we create from gunite for strength and custom shape. When the shell has cured, we will move into finishing work: interior surface finishes, tile at the waterline, coping at the pool edge, and the pool deck. During the last step in the process, equipment installation happens, pumps, filters, heaters and any automation systems. Then filling and startup happen and the water chemistry of the pool is balanced for the first time.

Building a pool commercially works the same way but on a larger scale and often involves additional code requirements as public or shared use facilities which we coordinate.

 Whether the pool is in your backyard or a community one, the basics are all the same: right engineering for the clay soil of Georgia, solid drainage plan, quality finished that can withstand years of sun, chemicals and weather.

How We Work

1. We will clear the ground on site and excavate for the pool according to your design.
2. Plumbing and electrical lines are rough-in installed before the pool shell is built.
3. Curing time for the gunite shell to cure is given after it has been sprayed and shaped before the finish work commences.
4. The pool has been plastered, and the waterline tile and coping are complete.
5. All other pumps, filters, heaters and any automation systems are also installed and tested.
6. The project is complete except for a final walkthrough with you, after which we fill the pool and balance the water chemistry.
